 Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone. 

One moment where I had to step out of my comfort zone was when I got a job. Lacrosse is my sport and it is played in spring so for the fall I wanted to get a job. I was clueless and aimlessly going into restaurants asking if they would want me to help overall going to 17 different restaurants. Finally after a week I got a job at a restaurant called EATalianos and I was over joyed. I was so scared going into the first day because I had no professional life outside of school so I wanted to be open minded. This was a very good example of me stepping outside of my comfort zone because I was so young and I was the youngest person they had ever hired. I was so proud of myself in the end for doing so and I am glad I have the ability to push myself to the limit. 

Summary:

Today in class we learned more about argumentative writing and wrote the first sentence of an argumentative paragraph. 

Reflection:

Today in class we learned loads about arguments and how to write a good writing. I feel like I increased my writing ability and learned loads.

Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.  One thing that I can not stop thinking about is what I learned about in AP Psychology today. We watched this video about people called "Wild Children" who are people who were raised with little to no human contact/interactions. These children were captured at birth and were striped of their rights to do anything basically. Because they have no knowledge of language and had no one to interact with for the critical learning period of their lives they make little to no noise. The aspect that I think about the most is that I am unable to grasp the idea of how my thought process would look like without words/vocabulary/language. I can not fathom the idea of thinking without words. I am also curious about how they felt after being found and brought into the human world. Overall this is a very interesting topic to me and I have found myself unable to get it off my mind.

  In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about (a friend, family member, or significant person in your life). In the spirit of Valentine's Day week, my idea of a perfect day spent with someone I care about is spending the day hanging out with my mom and sisters. I would wake up late come downstairs and eat a late brunch with my mom and then spend the afternoon shopping or watching movies with my sisters. Then we would come home and start getting ready for a nice dinner. My whole family would go to a nice Italian restaurant and then get some dessert on the way back home. After we got home me and the rest of my family would play board games until we got to bed. That is my idea of a perfect day with people I care about. Summary: Today in class we continued planning for our rhetorical analysis essay. Reflection: I learned a lot and feel more prepared after planning.
