I spent my holiday break in many different ways with many different people, locations, and activities. I spent time with my family and my boyfriends family the first week especially on Christmas Eve. I spent loads of time with my friends going to different peoples houses, the Botanical Gardens, and to see loads of Christmas lights. The four personal goals I would like to achieve this year is to get my license which is important for my independence, freedom, and control of my life. The three others are important for my health and they are to become more hydrated, eat healthier, and be more active.
The first goal that I want to achieve this year is to drink more water and be more hydrated. This goal is important because it will improve my overall health, my digestive system, and energy, allowing me to go about my life in a healthier way. To accomplish this goal, I have bought myself a nice water bottle, set reminders on my phone telling me to drink, and have a goal to drink 2-3 liters of water by the end of the day.
The second goal I want to achieve this year is to get to school on time every day. This goal is important because it will improve my attendence and create a better academic light for me in my first period teacher's eyes. To accomplish this goal, I bought myself the loudest alarm clock I could find; I have a goal of under 5 tardies this semester, and I have set up/organizing everything I need for school the night before rather than in the morning.
The third goal that I want to achieve this year is getting my driver's licence. This goal is important to me because it would give me more freedom, independence, and control of my life/plans. To accomplish this goal I have bought Drivers ED, I have set a goal of completing 20+ mins of Drivers ED a day, and I have set a goal to drive for 1-2 hours each week with my parents. I have a plan to complete this by the time I turn 17 so I have until May 27th.
The fourth goal I want to achieve this year is becoming more fit and active. This goal is important to me because I want to deflict health issues I may have later in life, along with making me more confident, and healthier. To accomplish this goal, I have a plan to walk to my house from work, school, and lacrosse when possible. I have also been taking my dog on walks and runs so she does not pee or poop in my house rather then just putting her in the backyard.
The fifth goal I want to achieve this year is to cut my snacking and junk food intake. This goal is important to me because it will decrease the number of health issues in my future, improve my digestive system, and make me overall happier. To accomplish this goal I have made a list of foods that are good for me and convenient that I can eat when I want to snack rather then junk food. I have also made Friday and Saturday my cheat days so that I do not feel like unhealthy food is not allowed rather to just have more moderation with my intake of it.

Today in class we went over the class rules for the new semester and talked about our new years resolutions, and our break.
