 Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths:

One time I felt connected to nature like the kinship of Native American in Native American Myths was when I worked at a garden over the summer. I would take care of the plants as if they were family, cutting them when they were overgrown, watering them when necessary, finding the problem when there was an issue, and really taking care of them. I felt very connected to these plants because of the care, time and effort I devoted to them. During these few months I felt an extreme sense of kinship as the Native Americans once did. Overtime I grew an emotional connection to these plants. I also felt proud when they flourished and sad when they struggled. Overall this experience helped me get closer to earth and really feel kinship. 

Summary: 

Today in class we learned about the history of Native American Literature. We talked about the different writings they made and the similarity's and differences of them. 

Reflection:

I learned the themes, variables, and elements that go into Native American liturature giving me background knowledge and understanding for the year.

Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.  One thing that I can not stop thinking about is what I learned about in AP Psychology today. We watched this video about people called "Wild Children" who are people who were raised with little to no human contact/interactions. These children were captured at birth and were striped of their rights to do anything basically. Because they have no knowledge of language and had no one to interact with for the critical learning period of their lives they make little to no noise. The aspect that I think about the most is that I am unable to grasp the idea of how my thought process would look like without words/vocabulary/language. I can not fathom the idea of thinking without words. I am also curious about how they felt after being found and brought into the human world. Overall this is a very interesting topic to me and I have found myself unable to get it off my mind.

  In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about (a friend, family member, or significant person in your life). In the spirit of Valentine's Day week, my idea of a perfect day spent with someone I care about is spending the day hanging out with my mom and sisters. I would wake up late come downstairs and eat a late brunch with my mom and then spend the afternoon shopping or watching movies with my sisters. Then we would come home and start getting ready for a nice dinner. My whole family would go to a nice Italian restaurant and then get some dessert on the way back home. After we got home me and the rest of my family would play board games until we got to bed. That is my idea of a perfect day with people I care about. Summary: Today in class we continued planning for our rhetorical analysis essay. Reflection: I learned a lot and feel more prepared after planning.
