 Describe a time you felt completely lost. 

One memorable time I felt completely lost was the first couple weeks of my first job. My first job was working at an Italian restaurant called Eatalianos and I worked as a host there. I went in the first day open minded and aware I would be lost, but I did not think I would be as confused as I ended up being. I was confused by everything: which food was which, what went on which food, how to log in to my employ account, how to do to go orders, how to pack the orders, how to ring someone up, how to answer the phone, how to do reservations, and more. I felt lost and like I would never understand. However aside from what I believed at first I soon picked it up on how to work everything and the restaurant grew on me. I got more and more comfortable with everything and really ended up successeding. 

Summary: 

Today in class we presented our powerpoints on the origin myth we read in class called "The Jelous Father." 

Reflection:

I learned how to really depict every detail of what I am reading and what questions I should ask along with what details to look out for and what they mean/symbolize.

Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.  One thing that I can not stop thinking about is what I learned about in AP Psychology today. We watched this video about people called "Wild Children" who are people who were raised with little to no human contact/interactions. These children were captured at birth and were striped of their rights to do anything basically. Because they have no knowledge of language and had no one to interact with for the critical learning period of their lives they make little to no noise. The aspect that I think about the most is that I am unable to grasp the idea of how my thought process would look like without words/vocabulary/language. I can not fathom the idea of thinking without words. I am also curious about how they felt after being found and brought into the human world. Overall this is a very interesting topic to me and I have found myself unable to get it off my mind.

  In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about (a friend, family member, or significant person in your life). In the spirit of Valentine's Day week, my idea of a perfect day spent with someone I care about is spending the day hanging out with my mom and sisters. I would wake up late come downstairs and eat a late brunch with my mom and then spend the afternoon shopping or watching movies with my sisters. Then we would come home and start getting ready for a nice dinner. My whole family would go to a nice Italian restaurant and then get some dessert on the way back home. After we got home me and the rest of my family would play board games until we got to bed. That is my idea of a perfect day with people I care about. Summary: Today in class we continued planning for our rhetorical analysis essay. Reflection: I learned a lot and feel more prepared after planning.
