 Write about something that you wish you had more of.

One thing I wish I had more of is time. I wish I had more time because considering school, college, and working I would want to have more time for retirement. By the time people are retired they are burnt out and no longer want to or can travel and do what is most important in life. I would want more time because then I can have decades to do as I please and fulfill my desires of life. I think that time is a thief and another reason I would choose time to have more of is because by the time my grandchildren are going through the most important things in life -like graduating, getting married, having children, getting a job, and much more- I will be dead and wont get the chance to see these beautiful parts of life. My last reason of why more time is what I would want more of is right now it would be helpful for me to to manage my responsibilities, pursue personal goals while I am still young, enjoy leisure activities, or to simply have more space to recharge and avoid feeling overwhelmed. 

Summary:

Today in class we finished up our origin myths, watched the LHS news post, and getting caught up on everything. 

Reflection:

Today in class because I finished my origin Myth at home and my poster I got to spend more time focusing on my blog and reflecting on what we have learned this week.

Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.  One thing that I can not stop thinking about is what I learned about in AP Psychology today. We watched this video about people called "Wild Children" who are people who were raised with little to no human contact/interactions. These children were captured at birth and were striped of their rights to do anything basically. Because they have no knowledge of language and had no one to interact with for the critical learning period of their lives they make little to no noise. The aspect that I think about the most is that I am unable to grasp the idea of how my thought process would look like without words/vocabulary/language. I can not fathom the idea of thinking without words. I am also curious about how they felt after being found and brought into the human world. Overall this is a very interesting topic to me and I have found myself unable to get it off my mind.

  In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about (a friend, family member, or significant person in your life). In the spirit of Valentine's Day week, my idea of a perfect day spent with someone I care about is spending the day hanging out with my mom and sisters. I would wake up late come downstairs and eat a late brunch with my mom and then spend the afternoon shopping or watching movies with my sisters. Then we would come home and start getting ready for a nice dinner. My whole family would go to a nice Italian restaurant and then get some dessert on the way back home. After we got home me and the rest of my family would play board games until we got to bed. That is my idea of a perfect day with people I care about. Summary: Today in class we continued planning for our rhetorical analysis essay. Reflection: I learned a lot and feel more prepared after planning.
