 Write about a time when you did something out of the norm. What was it and how did others react. 

A time when I did something out of the norm was when one time I ate Panera mac and cheese with a strawberry GoGo squeeze in it. It was actually very tasteful and the contrast of flavors complemented each other. I don't know what brought me to do this but everyone in my surroundings was very confused, disgusted, and concerned. I was will my friends and they all just looked at me like I was crazy telling me how gross that is. I think it shows how no one is willing to make a change or go against the given and when someone does others react poorly towards that person. For this reason I try my best not to judge people who are different then the norm and instead try to look up to those kinds of people/admire them. I still continue to do this to this day and I do not regret my choice I made that day it is wonderful.  

Summary:

Today in class we continued to work on our hearts/visual representation to Emily Dickinsons poem. I finished my drawings so I just had to write my explanations and do my blog post. 

Reflection:

Today in class I learned about the contrast between the logical mind and emotional heart, I also learned how to make metaphorical representations of these parts of the body.

Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.  One thing that I can not stop thinking about is what I learned about in AP Psychology today. We watched this video about people called "Wild Children" who are people who were raised with little to no human contact/interactions. These children were captured at birth and were striped of their rights to do anything basically. Because they have no knowledge of language and had no one to interact with for the critical learning period of their lives they make little to no noise. The aspect that I think about the most is that I am unable to grasp the idea of how my thought process would look like without words/vocabulary/language. I can not fathom the idea of thinking without words. I am also curious about how they felt after being found and brought into the human world. Overall this is a very interesting topic to me and I have found myself unable to get it off my mind.

  In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about (a friend, family member, or significant person in your life). In the spirit of Valentine's Day week, my idea of a perfect day spent with someone I care about is spending the day hanging out with my mom and sisters. I would wake up late come downstairs and eat a late brunch with my mom and then spend the afternoon shopping or watching movies with my sisters. Then we would come home and start getting ready for a nice dinner. My whole family would go to a nice Italian restaurant and then get some dessert on the way back home. After we got home me and the rest of my family would play board games until we got to bed. That is my idea of a perfect day with people I care about. Summary: Today in class we continued planning for our rhetorical analysis essay. Reflection: I learned a lot and feel more prepared after planning.
