As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

As the first semester comes to an end,  reflecting on my learning and growth in this course. What I enjoyed the most about the class was the people in it and the group work that brought me closer to my peers,  the projects I found most engaging were the ones where we were able to show off our creativity through art/drawing. The aspect of the course I connected with the most was poetry because I do not read well so really taking a deep dive into each poem allowed me to grasp the best understanding of the text. Finally, reflecting on one area where I feel I need additional support  as we move into the spring semester is reading in general because I am really bad at it and I could really improve in it.

Summary:

Today in class we presented our final and did our blog post.

Reflection:

Today in class I learned a lot about new poems and did a good deep dive on all of the poems that were read.
