 What life skills have you learned in high school that will help you live independently after high school? Which skills do you think are essential for your success after high school? 

The life skills I have learned in high school that will help me live independently after high school are that it isn't bad to ask questions. I think in life it is essential for people to ask questions otherwise you will live your life confused. I think it is a matter of how much self discipline you have how long it takes you to ask a question and how willing you are to struggle with yourself. Although I do not think that asking questions should be your automatic instinct to do while struggling I do think it is an important skill to have in the world and that is one thing that will help me live independently

Summary:

Today in class we learned more rhetoric devices while doing exercises to help our understanding of the device. 

Reflection:

Today in class I learned 3 new rhetoric devices and was able to converse with my peers to use them in a sentence.

Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.  One thing that I can not stop thinking about is what I learned about in AP Psychology today. We watched this video about people called "Wild Children" who are people who were raised with little to no human contact/interactions. These children were captured at birth and were striped of their rights to do anything basically. Because they have no knowledge of language and had no one to interact with for the critical learning period of their lives they make little to no noise. The aspect that I think about the most is that I am unable to grasp the idea of how my thought process would look like without words/vocabulary/language. I can not fathom the idea of thinking without words. I am also curious about how they felt after being found and brought into the human world. Overall this is a very interesting topic to me and I have found myself unable to get it off my mind.

  In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about (a friend, family member, or significant person in your life). In the spirit of Valentine's Day week, my idea of a perfect day spent with someone I care about is spending the day hanging out with my mom and sisters. I would wake up late come downstairs and eat a late brunch with my mom and then spend the afternoon shopping or watching movies with my sisters. Then we would come home and start getting ready for a nice dinner. My whole family would go to a nice Italian restaurant and then get some dessert on the way back home. After we got home me and the rest of my family would play board games until we got to bed. That is my idea of a perfect day with people I care about. Summary: Today in class we continued planning for our rhetorical analysis essay. Reflection: I learned a lot and feel more prepared after planning.
