 Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

One time when I had to rely on someone else was when I needed my mom to go to the grocery store to buy me food. I was in the middle of making brownies and I needed eggs because I had forgotten that we did not have any. I called my mom asking for her to run to the store to buy me some having to rely on my mom. This left me feeling stressed out and uncomfortable because I didn't know if she would get the correct eggs and I am typically quite independent so it also left me feeling bad that I gave her this inconvenience. 

Summary:

Today in class we took notes on rhetoric devices. 

Reflection:

Today in class I expanded my understanding of 2 new devices that I am able to use beyond the classroom

Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.  One thing that I can not stop thinking about is what I learned about in AP Psychology today. We watched this video about people called "Wild Children" who are people who were raised with little to no human contact/interactions. These children were captured at birth and were striped of their rights to do anything basically. Because they have no knowledge of language and had no one to interact with for the critical learning period of their lives they make little to no noise. The aspect that I think about the most is that I am unable to grasp the idea of how my thought process would look like without words/vocabulary/language. I can not fathom the idea of thinking without words. I am also curious about how they felt after being found and brought into the human world. Overall this is a very interesting topic to me and I have found myself unable to get it off my mind.

Which part of the annotated bibliography (summary, reflection, or evaluation) was the most challenging for you, and why? Explain how that challenge helped you grow as a researcher and how it will help you when writing your research paper.   The part of the annotated bibliography that challenged me the most was definitely the evaluation. I found this challenging because I could not find the credibility in the source itself rather, I had to do further research on who wrote the source and their perspective to see in check for biases. This challenge helped me grow as a researcher, giving me more experience on learning how to recognize a credible and not credible source and how to look for biases in each source. This will help me write my research paper to be as credible as possible, making it without a bias, and ensuring that all points of view are seen throughout my source.
