 Choose a vocabulary word that resonates with you personally. Write a blog post explaining why this word is significant to you, including any personal memories or experiences that link you to the word.

One vocabulary word that resonates with me personally is gibberish. Every since I was young people have told me I talk too fast it sounds like gibberish. In those moments, my words tumble over one another like water rushing over a steep waterfall. I often feel as though my brain is operating several steps ahead of my tongue’s ability to keep up. While others might hear a chaotic mess of sounds, I see it as a reflection of my restless energy and enthusiasm. To me, this frantic pace is simply the natural rhythm of my own unique internal monologue. However, I have learned to appreciate the importance of slowing down to bridge the gap between my thoughts and my audience. By finding a balance, I can transform that initial confusion into a clear and meaningful exchange of ideas. Ultimately, reclaiming the term allows me to turn a perceived flaw into a celebration of my quick-thinking personality.

Today in class Mr. Reese was not here so we did vocab in Mr. Bokelman's class.

Today in class we learned new vocab and got to discuss it with our peers.

Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.  One thing that I can not stop thinking about is what I learned about in AP Psychology today. We watched this video about people called "Wild Children" who are people who were raised with little to no human contact/interactions. These children were captured at birth and were striped of their rights to do anything basically. Because they have no knowledge of language and had no one to interact with for the critical learning period of their lives they make little to no noise. The aspect that I think about the most is that I am unable to grasp the idea of how my thought process would look like without words/vocabulary/language. I can not fathom the idea of thinking without words. I am also curious about how they felt after being found and brought into the human world. Overall this is a very interesting topic to me and I have found myself unable to get it off my mind.

  In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about (a friend, family member, or significant person in your life). In the spirit of Valentine's Day week, my idea of a perfect day spent with someone I care about is spending the day hanging out with my mom and sisters. I would wake up late come downstairs and eat a late brunch with my mom and then spend the afternoon shopping or watching movies with my sisters. Then we would come home and start getting ready for a nice dinner. My whole family would go to a nice Italian restaurant and then get some dessert on the way back home. After we got home me and the rest of my family would play board games until we got to bed. That is my idea of a perfect day with people I care about. Summary: Today in class we continued planning for our rhetorical analysis essay. Reflection: I learned a lot and feel more prepared after planning.
