 When you are in a mood that you do not like, what are some strategies that you use to change your mood? 

When I am in a mood that I do not like some strategies that I use to change my mood consist of talking to my mom about it, getting my work done as a destresser, or hanging out with friends. Often times when I am in a bad mood the first person to notice it is my mom, after she notices it she will ask me about it and we usually begin to talk about it. She will suggest ideas to make the situation better in context of each specific senerio and we overcome it together. The second thing I go to do is often I am in a bad mood because of heavy work loads, therefore to overcome said mood I will get it done leaving me tired but relived and able to put it all past me. The third and final stratigy I go to is hanging out with friends which often gets my mind off the whatever has brought a bad mood upon me and continue with my day.  

Summary:

Today in class we did a newsela about ice and water. We annotated it, and used a graphic organizer to create a paragraph about the passage, we also completed a quiz regarding the passage. 

Reflection:

I learned/relearned a lot of chemistry that I had learned last year, it was about ice and surface tension and stuff. I learned how to use an non fiction to create a paragraph with a factual  claim.
