Now that I have completed my rhetorical analysis essay, I feel like my writing and planning skills grew significantly and so did my confidence regarding rhetoric. This experience impacted my confidence as a writer by strengthening my planning and organizing skills using step 3 of the writing process making me grow more confident when essay writing day actually comes around. I feel prepared to continue analyzing complex speeches and texts in American Literature because of these new skills I have learned and accomplished meaning that now I would be able to do one on my own and aim for success. 

Summary:

Today I wrote my rhetorical analysis essay and I feel pretty confident about it.

Reflection:

I am excited to get my grade back.

Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.  One thing that I can not stop thinking about is what I learned about in AP Psychology today. We watched this video about people called "Wild Children" who are people who were raised with little to no human contact/interactions. These children were captured at birth and were striped of their rights to do anything basically. Because they have no knowledge of language and had no one to interact with for the critical learning period of their lives they make little to no noise. The aspect that I think about the most is that I am unable to grasp the idea of how my thought process would look like without words/vocabulary/language. I can not fathom the idea of thinking without words. I am also curious about how they felt after being found and brought into the human world. Overall this is a very interesting topic to me and I have found myself unable to get it off my mind.

Which part of the annotated bibliography (summary, reflection, or evaluation) was the most challenging for you, and why? Explain how that challenge helped you grow as a researcher and how it will help you when writing your research paper.   The part of the annotated bibliography that challenged me the most was definitely the evaluation. I found this challenging because I could not find the credibility in the source itself rather, I had to do further research on who wrote the source and their perspective to see in check for biases. This challenge helped me grow as a researcher, giving me more experience on learning how to recognize a credible and not credible source and how to look for biases in each source. This will help me write my research paper to be as credible as possible, making it without a bias, and ensuring that all points of view are seen throughout my source.
