If you had to write a poem about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be about? Explain your answer in at least 4 to 5 sentences.
If I had to write a poem about my life right now it would be about the constant feeling of being everywhere and nowhere all at once. My life is basically a massive, shimmering web of everyone else's thoughts, questions, and ideas, which is honestly kind of a lot to process for a teenage girl! I’d describe it as sitting in a room with a thousand open windows, where I’m catching glimpses of different worlds but never actually stepping outside. I think this because I still am confused as to who I am as a person. I would describe my life currently as a hunt to find the person I want to be rather then who everyone else wants me to be. This is stressful, often harmful, and a big maze for me.
Summary:
Today in class we wrote rhetorical thesis statements for a rhetorical analysis.
Reflection:
I learned the overall idea of what a rhetorical analysis is!
