Describe your personal approach to creativity. What steps do you follow when you’re working on a project. Tell me about a project you created that you were most proud of. My personal approach to creativity is that creativity is each persons mind and soul displaying it's originality. The steps I follow when working on a project is starting with reading the rubric/instructions of it. I then build off of that and organize where each part of the project will be placed. I then use my creativity to preform the instructions of each section/part in order to get a good grade and forful the rubric. Finally I add my own touches on my work to display my creativity at its finest degree. One project I am the most proud of creating is my brain project for my AP psychology class. I structured it very well and used my creativity to produce the best outcome which had me have the only 100% grade on that project in the class.  Summary: Today in class we did a writable on new vocab words.  ...

When you are in a mood that you do not like, what are some strategies that you use to change your mood?  When I am in a mood that I do not like some strategies that I use to change my mood consist of talking to my mom about it, getting my work done as a destresser, or hanging out with friends. Often times when I am in a bad mood the first person to notice it is my mom, after she notices it she will ask me about it and we usually begin to talk about it. She will suggest ideas to make the situation better in context of each specific senerio and we overcome it together. The second thing I go to do is often I am in a bad mood because of heavy work loads, therefore to overcome said mood I will get it done leaving me tired but relived and able to put it all past me. The third and final stratigy I go to is hanging out with friends which often gets my mind off the whatever has brought a bad mood upon me and continue with my day.   Summary: Today in class we did a newsela a...

After two weeks of studying rhetorical devices, types of rhetoric, and methods for identifying rhetorical techniques, which rhetorical device do you find most effective or compelling, and why? After two weeks of studying rhetorical devices, types of rhetoric, and methods for identifying rhetorical techniques, the rhetorical device I find the most effective is rhetorical questions. I think this because it gets the point across while also making the audience question and understand the answer. It also has various ways to be used like when you are mad, being sarcastic, annoyed, and so many more ways. I think this is also the device I use the most although sometimes it can be condescending I think it really helps me get my point across and is very powerful.  Summary: Today in class we did our rhetoric quiz. Reflection: Today in class I think I did OKAY at best on the quiz I just think I got a bit mixed up on two of the devices and it tripped me up.

Choose a vocabulary word that resonates with you personally. Write a blog post explaining why this word is significant to you, including any personal memories or experiences that link you to the word. One vocabulary word that resonates with me personally is gibberish. Every since I was young people have told me I talk too fast it sounds like gibberish.  In those moments, my words tumble over one another like water rushing over a steep waterfall. I often feel as though my brain is operating several steps ahead of my tongue’s ability to keep up. While others might hear a chaotic mess of sounds, I see it as a reflection of my restless energy and enthusiasm. To me, this frantic pace is simply the natural rhythm of my own unique internal monologue. However, I have learned to appreciate the importance of slowing down to bridge the gap between my thoughts and my audience. By finding a balance, I can transform that initial confusion into a clear and meaningful exchange of ideas. Ult...

Write about a time you didn’t feel like yourself. One time when I did not feel like myself is when I was at a friends birthday party and ate a full bag of chips. This left me feeling very uncomfterable and extremely bloated I had never felt like that in my life. My body was unrecognizable and it looked almost fake because of how much my stomach was pushing itself out. I felt like I was expanding and no one could save me, it was very scary and uncomforting. I wish to never feel like that again so now I do my best in not being glutenous and eating as much as I need not as much as I want.   Summary: Today in class we depicted rhetoric devices in a speech Reflection:  Today in class I learned how to hear rhetoric.

Describe a place where you feel the most at peace and explain why.  One place I feel the most at peace is my bed. It has white fluffy blankets, it is very soft and squishy, there is a load of pillows waiting for me, my dog is often with me while I am on it, and it smells so good. It makes me feel the most at peace because I am able to rest in it, there is no one there to judge me, it leaves me feeling a sense of solitude, and it has a very comforting vibe to it. I have always been a large extrovert and not as big on bed rotting/a homebody but when I need it I always know my bed is there for me to lay in which is a very comforting feeling.    Summary: Today in class we talked about 3 more new rhetoric devices and preformed exercises for it.  Reflection: Today in class I learned so much and I really grasped an understanding for these devices.

Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel? One time when I had to rely on someone else was when I needed my mom to go to the grocery store to buy me food. I was in the middle of making brownies and I needed eggs because I had forgotten that we did not have any. I called my mom asking for her to run to the store to buy me some having to rely on my mom. This left me feeling stressed out and uncomfortable because I didn't know if she would get the correct eggs and I am typically quite independent so it also left me feeling bad that I gave her this inconvenience.  Summary: Today in class we took notes on rhetoric devices.  Reflection: Today in class I expanded my understanding of 2 new devices that I am able to use beyond the classroom

What life skills have you learned in high school that will help you live independently after high school? Which skills do you think are essential for your success after high school?  The life skills I have learned in high school that will help me live independently after high school are that it isn't bad to ask questions. I think in life it is essential for people to ask questions otherwise you will live your life confused. I think it is a matter of how much self discipline you have how long it takes you to ask a question and how willing you are to struggle with yourself. Although I do not think that asking questions should be your automatic instinct to do while struggling I do think it is an important skill to have in the world and that is one thing that will help me live independently Summary: Today in class we learned more rhetoric devices while doing exercises to help our understanding of the device.  Reflection: Today in class I learned 3 new rhetoric devices and w...

Describe a time when you took a  hiatus  from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you? One time when I took a hiatus from something important was before this past ACT I basically fully stopped studying for it and working for a better score. What led to this break was I over studied myself for the previous test leaving me burnt out for the next and my mom would not stop nagging me to study which made me want to study less and less. This impacted my score significantly having it go from a 30 to a 26 and really disappointed me. Overall this break has taught me to never give up on working for something you desire and with hard work comes great outcome.  Summary: Today in class we learned more rhetoric devices and practiced using more exercises.  Reflection: Today in class I feel like I really expanded my knowledge on these devices and it left me feeling much smarter.
